The Broadcaster has unveiled its new menu, showcasing seasonal ingredients across a collection of dishes that celebrate modern British cooking.
Set within White City's iconic Television Centre, the four-storey venue is home to a contemporary pub, restaurant and rooftop bar. Highlights from the new menu include yellowfin tuna crudo, Disco Scallops, wild garlic risotto and rare breed fillet, complemented by a selection of fresh seasonal cocktails. The Knife paid a recent visit to get a real taste of what was on offer.
Small Plates That Set the Tone
The new menu gets off to a confident start with a series of dishes designed to showcase bold flavours and quality ingredients.
The yellowfin tuna crudo combines delicate slices of fish with crispy potato and gochujang aioli, bringing texture and gentle heat to an otherwise refined dish. Elsewhere, tartare of prime beef is elevated with pickled turnip and black garlic, creating a balance of richness, acidity and depth.
Then there are the aptly named Disco Scallops. Served with Granny Smith apple, sage and pancetta, the dish delivers a combination of sweetness, freshness and savoury richness that perfectly captures the kitchen's playful approach to seasonal cooking.
Celebrating Seasonal Produce
Seasonality sits at the heart of the new offering, with several dishes highlighting some of the UK's most anticipated ingredients.
The wild garlic and pea risotto is a standout example, bringing together fresh peas, asparagus and earthy morels in a dish that feels unmistakably tied to the season. It's bright, vibrant and showcases the kitchen's ability to let quality produce do the heavy lifting.
Throughout the menu, there is a clear emphasis on ingredients at their peak, reflecting the growing appetite for British cooking that places provenance and seasonality front and centre.
A Main Course Worth Tuning In For
For those looking for something more substantial, the rare breed fillet is among the menu's headline dishes.
Served with violet mustard, grelot onion and a classic Diane sauce, it combines comforting familiarity with polished execution. It's a dish that demonstrates The Broadcaster's ability to bridge the gap between elevated dining and relaxed hospitality, offering restaurant-quality cooking without losing the welcoming character of a neighbourhood pub.
Alongside the new seasonal additions, guests will also find a selection of larger plates and signature favourites that have helped establish The Broadcaster as one of White City's most popular dining destinations.
Cocktails Made for Rooftop Season
As temperatures rise, The Broadcaster's cocktail programme comes into its own. The Al Fonzo blends vodka, spiced mango and cloudy lemon for a refreshing tropical serve, while the Orchard Collins combines Sapling gin, pear liqueur, apple, guava and lime soda for something lighter and fruit-forward. Meanwhile, the Pink Lady mixes Lillet Rouge, spiced rum, summer fruits and lemonade, making it an ideal companion for an evening spent on the rooftop terrace overlooking west London.
Whether stopping by for pre-dinner drinks or settling in for the evening, the cocktail list adds another dimension to an already versatile venue.
More Than Just a Pub
Since opening within the redeveloped Television Centre, The Broadcaster has become one of west London's most distinctive hospitality destinations.
Spread across four floors, the venue combines a modern British pub, stylish restaurant and rooftop bar with panoramic views across White City and beyond. It's a space designed to suit everything from long lunches and after-work drinks to special occasions and weekend gatherings.
The new seasonal menu only strengthens that appeal. Seasonal without feeling predictable and refined without becoming inaccessible, it offers another compelling reason to visit one of west London's most exciting food and drink destinations.
